I just turned 12 weeks and my dr told me it’s okay to stop the progesterone suppositories but I’m really nervous to….has anyone been on them their whole pregnancy? I’m scared something is going to happen if I stop taking them….please help!

I know each situation is unique, but I went through ivf, was on progesterone injections and was instructed to stop them at 10 weeks. Was told at 8 weeks the placenta takes over the production of progesterone. Had no complications other than a hormonal headache for a few days, other than that baby is doing well. Almost 12 weeks now. Hope that helps!
I'm in the same spot. I logically know the placenta takes over, but it makes me nervous to stop!

I'm 12 weeks and my OB is keeping me on them until my levels get to Zone 3 per the NaPro protocol chart: https://naprotechnology.com/progesterone/Opens a new windowTesting every two weeks and my numbers are rising slowly, so hopefully I can stop soon!
I don't have a lot of references or anything, but my personal experience of stopping the progesterone suppositories at 12 weeks for my prior 2 pregnancy were healthy and successful after not being on progesterone with previous miscarriage. I guess with my prior success I can't wait for 12 weeks so I can stop!
I did Mini IVF and was in estrogen and progesterone suppositories until 12 weeks. I was so scared to stop. I was on two progesterone a day (even 3 a day at one point). When I hit 12 weeks I had 6 pills left so my OB had me go down to one a night. I just stopped them this past Wednesday. I was so nervous and still kinda am. I’m trying to remind myself that my placenta has taken over now.
My first full term pregnancy I was on progesterone suppositories up til 12 weeks and than stop cold turkey and I have a beautiful 2.5 year old and now am 14 weeks pregnant and stop my progesterone at 12 weeks again and sp far so good :) I previously have had 2 miscarriages before my daughter.
I just stopped my progesterone last week at 13 weeks Dr said to stop at 12 I had a few pills left so he said I could finish them if I wanted but wasn’t necessary I’ve been super nervous trying to remind myself my body is doing what it’s supposed to every time we get an ultrasound baby is fine and looking well thankfully my Dr allows me extra ultrasounds to easy anxiety I just had a loss in December didn’t think I’d get pregnant again so fast so it’s been extremely anxiety ridden
