458-2222. HAAVE, Josef Benjamin Josef Benjamin Haave was born on January 05, 1910 at Trout Lake WA, USA. At the age of three years he moved with his family to a homestead at Weldon, Saskatchewan. After completing high school, he attended Normal School in Saskatoon and taught school for ten years In May of 1942 he married Selma Louise Aune of Kinistino, SK. Josef was a member of the first graduating class of Luther Theological Seminary in Saskatoon in 1942 and subsequently served as a pastor in parishes in Saskatchewan.
Alberta and British Columbia for almost thirty years. Joset had a wide range of interests, read extensively and possessed a sparkling sense of humour His hobby was tracing family histories and he prepared detailed family tree reports for his own family He was also able to use church records and his library to assist many families of Scandinavian heritage in western Canada in tracing their family origin. In 1968 Selma and Josef retired to New Westminster where they resided until moving to Edmonton in 1993. During his retirement years Josef served as a volunteer with the Federal Citizenship Court in Vancouver for more than 20 years. Josef died in Edmonton on September 25.

Herbert Droschinski of Edmonton, Alberta, passed away after a lengthy battle with cancer at the age of 67 years.
Herbert was born in Kasun, Poland on May 31. 1927 Although he was born in Poland his parents came from a German background and he was raised with a German heritage. In 1952, Herbert immigrated to Canada He was always a very ambitious and hard working man. In the mid-1950 Herbert and his business partner started a successful construction company known as P. Kruger Concrete Products Ltd.
and he remained in the company until 1988. In 1988, he created his own company, Herbert Droschinski Investments and he managed this business up until the time of his death. In 1963, he married his wife, Vera. They enjoyed 30 happy years of marriage and were blessed with one daughter. He was a responsible husband and a doting father.
The well-being of his family was always his first priority. He is lovingly remembered by his wife, Vera: daughter. Soma Krause and son-in-law. Michael Krause of Sherwood Park; one brother, Arthur Droschinski of Coaldale, Alberta; one sister, Isolde Vaselenak of Coaldale. Donna Jane Ulrich of Edmonton passed away peace fully at the age of 45 years. She is survived by her loving husband, Gordon and their three children, Michele, Geoffrey and Gregory, all of Edmonton; her father, Jim Kilner of Vancouver; and her brother, Jim Kilner also of Vancouver; as well as many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews and friends. Donna was predeceasd by her mother, Helen Bunny ') Kilner. Donna was a devoted wife and mother living most of her life in Vancouver before venturing to Alberta, moving first to Calgary; since 1978 the family has resided in Edmonton. She was a caring person who showed a genuine interest in others, especially children.
Her greatest gift was her love of life. Donna long and valiant fight against breast cancer was finally lost though she never gave up. She will be sadly missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her.
