Double murder probe launched after man and woman found dead at house
Police have launched a double murder probe after the bodies of a man and a woman were found at a house. Paramedics made the grim discovery after being called to an address on Alpine Drive in Hednesford, Staffs., at around 12.30pm yesterday (Tue). Police were called after two bodies were found inside and a cordon has been set up at the scene while investigations are carried out. A Staffordshire Police spokesperson said: "We’ve launched a murder investigation after two bodies were discovered inside a house in Cannock. "At about 12.30pm today (Tue), we were alerted by our colleagues at West Midlands Ambulance Service who were at an address on Alpine Drive in Hednesford. "Sadly, the bodies of a man and a woman were found inside. "Specially-trained officers have been assigned to support their families at this tragic time. "A cordon has been set up in the area whilst we carry out enquiries to understand the circ*mstances of the deaths. "We’d like to ask people not to speculate whilst we do this.
