As with most titles featuring gacha mechanics, Solo Leveling: Arise is full of various currencies and resources but none are as vital to your success as Gold. Whether you're looking to enhance your favorite Artifacts, level up Hunters, or upgrade your newly drawn Weapon, you'll quickly find yourself in need of obscene amounts of Gold.

While you could bust open your wallet and buy bundles that include Gold, learning how to farm Gold efficiently as a free-to-play or budget Hunter can be frustrating if you don't know where to start. In this Solo Leveling: Arise guide, we'll outline some of the best ways to farm Gold without breaking the IRL bank.

  • Check-In Daily and Collect Daily Activity Funds
  • Story Chapters and Battlefield of Trials
  • Clear and Mine Gates
  • Sell Unwanted Artifacts
  • Complete Daily and Weekly Missions
  • Complete Challenges
  • Participate in Events
  • Clear Notifications
  • Use Redeem Codes

Check-In Daily and Collect Daily Activity Funds

Checking into Solo Leveling: Arise daily is one of the most painless ways to begin farming Gold because your consistency is celebrated with various free rewards including heaping piles of Gold. At any given time, Solo Leveling: Arise can feature several Check-In banners such as 14-Day Check-In and 28-Day Check-In, and these concurrently running banners will each grant you a reward. Though you won't receive Gold every day and the amount each banner awards will fluctuate, it's hard to complain about free resources that require little to no effort to collect.

For instance, as shown in the image above, Solo Leveling: Arise is currently running a 7-Day Gift II Check-In banner. If you were to check in for seven days in a row during this period you'd earn an impressive 600,000 Gold from this banner alone and pick up extra rewards from any additional banners.

After logging into Solo Leveling: Arise and claiming your Check-In rewards, you'll load into the Korean Hunters Association lobby that houses the Shop and other resources essential to Jinwoo and the rest of the Hunters. Between the lobby's Information Desk and the Gate Status Board, you'll find a cylindrical tank labeled, Activity Funds – an AFK system that passively collects Gold, EXP, and additional items.

Daily Activity Funds accumulate over 24 hours before capping out, so it's essential to harvest your Activity Funds at least once a day. Once collected, the Activity Funds timer will reset and gather more Gold and items for you to collect during your next play session.

Though your Daily Activity Funds yield will be relatively small toward the beginning of your journey, your per-minute yield will naturally increase because it's directly tied to your progression. As you level up Jinwoo and your unlocked Hunters, your Activity Fund will collect more Gold and EXP per minute.

Tip!

If you play on PC and can't get to your rig for the day, remember that Solo Leveling: Arise is also available in the App Store and Google Play. Download Solo Leveling: Arise, use the same sign-in method to take advantage of cross-progression, then collect your Check-In Rewards and Daily Activity Funds.

Story Chapters and Battlefield of Trials

Solo Leveling: Arise offers several game modes including a Story Mode that allows you to play through Jinwoo's story while earning several rewards including Gold. As you advance through Solo Leveling: Arise's narrative, your rewards for completing stages and chapters will continually increase and you'll even unlock Hard Mode after clearing Chapter 11.

With Hard Mode unlocked you can replay Chapters and stages to earn larger pots of Gold than your original playthrough.

Another game mode great for Gold farming is Battlefield of Trials which can be unlocked by completing Chapter 7 - Episode 4 of Story Mode. Once unlocked, you can play as Jinwoo or as three characters from your Hunter roster to take on hordes of monsters and a formidable boss enemy. Though surviving the 30 Floors in Battlefield of Trials isn't for the faint of heart, experienced players can earn over 10,000 Gold after every five dungeons.

Clear and Mine Gates

Gates is yet another game mode in Solo Leveling: Arise, and it essentially operates as a dungeon mechanic that tasks you with surviving waves of monsters before defeating the dungeon's boss to clear Gate. Gates can be played as Jinwoo or in Hunter Mode and clearing Gates immediately grants you some small rewards.

To collect additional prizes, clear one or more of the gates, then Dispatch the Mining Team to automatically harvest loot from the gates including Gold. As you send out the Mining Team more and more frequently, you'll naturally upgrade the Mining Team's level which increases the amount of resources they can collect per dispatch.

Sell Unwanted Artifacts

Artifacts are special items in Solo Leveling: Arise that you can equip on Jinwoo and Hunters to augment their stats and unlock unique bonuses. Artifacts will unlock after completing the first stage in Chapter 5 titled, The Hidden Quest, and by grinding game modes like Encore Missions and Instance Dungeons, you'll begin to amass an extensive inventory of Artifacts.

But as your collection of Artifacts grows, you'll quickly find yourself with useless or outdated items that aren't worth holding onto. Thankfully, you can trade in low-tier and duplicate Artifacts in exchange for Gold.

Complete Daily and Weekly Missions

Solo Leveling: Arise features Daily and Weekly Missions that can be completed to earn Reputation, Essence Stones, Gold, and more. Knocking out these missions will allow you to collect at least 10,000 Gold per day and an extra 7,500 each week resulting in a potential weekly total of 77,500 Gold per week.

Most Daily and Weekly Missions are relatively straightforward and many can even be completed organically during your Solo Leveling: Arise play sessions. For example, if you check your Daily Activity Funds as mentioned earlier, you'll immediately earn 20 Points – enough to open the first daily gift of 10,000 Gold and 500 Reputation.

Complete Challenges

Like Daily and Weekly Missions, Challenges are tasks that can be completed to earn Gold and other resources, but they're unique because each challenge is tied to a Chapter in Jinwoo's story. While some Challenges like "Clear Main Ch.3 EP1" will be accomplished as you naturally advance through the narrative, others like "Draw 10 Times" may require some extracurricular activities.

With 818 Challenges to complete, determined Gold farmers will have the opportunity to earn well over 1,000,000 Gold on top of various other resources. As lucrative as that may sound, there is a catch that may prevent you from collecting your prizes.

Challenges must be completed in sequential order to claim your rewards. In other words, even if you knock out a Challenge and see the golden "Claim" button on your menu, the reward cannot be claimed until the previous Challenges have also been completed. Still, don't let this wrinkle detour you from cashing in and get to grinding.

Participate in Events

Solo Leveling: Arise is constantly running events where you can test your luck or compete against other Hunters for sought-after rewards like mounds of Gold. Events can vary drastically from gacha to Gate Exploration Tournaments to challenges based on leveling up.

To check out the events you can participate in, open your menu by clicking the four squares on the top right corner of your screen, then press the icon with a star sitting inside a circle.

Clear Notifications

As you load into Solo Leveling: Arise, you'll immediately get inundated by red notification bubbles that are easy to ignore. Whether the notifications are about giveaways in the Shop or free rewards sent to your in-game Mailbox, these notification bubbles can help fill your pockets.

Though it's unlikely you'll ever receive tons of Gold from clearing any one notification, every coin helps. By clearing your notifications as part of your daily routine alongside collecting your Daily Activity Funds, you'll soon notice a difference in your spending power, so don't overlook this simple tip.

Below, we'll list a few of the notifications that may yield rewards such as Gold:
