1979 DYER 29' FEDERALLY DOCCUMENTED - SOLID FIBERGLASS HULL - NO CORE- LOBSTER / TUNA This is a PROJECT BOAT that has a ton of potential. She has a 454 engine and Velvet Drive Transmission (Condition Unknown) Needs Decks Replaced - New Windows and Gaskets, Some Fiberglass Work, Paint-Gel Coat or Awl grip sprayed on entire Boat and Personally I would Repower with a nice Diesel Set Up and Re-Wire her. These Hulls are Legendary for their Comfortable ride, Seaworthiness, control in a following sea and low fuel consumption hull design. Will make a great inshore Lobster Boat - Tuna - Bass - Ground Fish - Dive or Pleasure / Family Boat. Here's you chance to Build it your way!! Make Below Deck Fish / Ice Holds - Bait Wells - Lobster Tanks or Storage areas. What’s the magic numbers to make this work? Any estimates for what you’d have to get the hull for and what it would take to get it to serviceable condition? Not lobster yacht, just work boat condition?

looks like your in to that Boat Restoration stuff....You know what Dyers go for all dun up. I can point you in the direction of a Pair of Hino 310 wo6TA's with ZF 2:1 Transmissions with only 350 to 400 hours FWC cheap too. Other than Doing the Decks....I got a quote of $8500 on the Glass and Gelcoat Work on the hull (Black) with non skid Awlgrip on the Gunnels and Bow (White).
